Learners harvested carrots, rape and covo from their own garden plots.
The school garden had its best harvest yet, with learners from Grade 3 to Grade 7 caring for their own plots. Fresh vegetables went to the feeding scheme and the rest was sold to parents, raising money for new seed and tools.
Thank you to the Nyanga Farmers' Cooperative for their advice and the donation of a drip-irrigation kit.
