Learning
From play-based ECD to the Grade 7 ZIMSEC examinations.

We follow the Zimbabwe primary curriculum, with strong foundations in reading and maths, and hands-on learning in the garden, the computer lab and the library.
How children learn at Nyamhuka
Strong basics first, then plenty of chances to learn by doing.
Strong foundations
Daily reading and maths in every class, with extra help for children who need it.
Learning by doing
The school garden, science projects and educational tours bring lessons to life.
Digital skills
Regular lessons in the computer lab from Grade 3, from typing to spreadsheets.
Every child seen
Class teachers track each learner's progress and meet parents every term.

Hands-on
Lessons that go outside
Agriculture is part of the curriculum from Grade 3, and our learners grow cabbages, carrots and maize in the school garden. They measure, record and sell what they grow, so maths and science become real.
